Paper Mulberry Days：
Life in the Mountains of Shikoku

We filmed this documentary in Kochi Prefecture, on the island of Shikoku from Fall 2019 to Spring 2021.
Paper mulberry trees, used to make traditional Japanese paper, have long been a valuable cash crop here.
Focussing on the cultivation of these trees we studied life in these mountains over a period of 18 months.
